Our VoIP sales engineers are tasked with a wide variety of technical duties, from pre-sales support, to post-sales technical service; must fully understand our product line and be able to assist our internal sales staff with technical questions; work with customers on a pre-sales basis to provide solutions that work for their needs; provide post-sales support for our customers through a ticketing system, and maintain accurate knowledge base data; learn new technologies, and earn certifications through self-managed research, and vendor trainings; develop and deliver effective technical trainings to sales staff.
Qualifications: Solid understanding of Data Networking protocols (SMTP, SNMP, HTTP/S, DNS, DHCP, POP3, TFTP,FTP, SFTP). Moderate to advanced understanding of the Linux and Windows operating systems. Ability, drive, and willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to effectively deliver training material to others. Excellent problem solving abilities and be able to apply this ability in a multitasking environment. 2 years experience in a technical support or sales engineeering role.
