This high performance switch features a non-blocking wire-speed architecture with an 8.8Gbps switching capacity for maximum data throughput. All 26 RJ-45 ports automatically negotiate to the highest speed and support Auto Uplink technology to make the right link.

NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Switches are ideal for adding basic management to your unmanaged networks and extending your managed networks. Two RJ-45 copper Gigabit ports and an SFP slot for optional fiber make it possible to create high-speed connections to a server or network backbone whether it's nearby or far away, Auto-Negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (either 10, 100, 1000Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. Web-based Smart management features include performance monitoring, port configuration, VLAN for traffic control, port trunking for increased bandwidth, and Class of Service (CoS) for traffic prioritization. LEDs on the front panel make switch status easy to observe and troubleshooting easy to accomplish. Use as an unmanaged switch for plug and play operation or use the Smart Wizard to easily access the intuitive web-based management features. Made to last, this durable switch is housed in a 17' metal box and is backed by a five-year warranty. Comes complete with a rack mounting kit.
