PhoneBochs fits as well in a small 5-person office without a server closet as it does in a 100-person office with racks of infrastructure, thanks to its small 1u form factor and quiet operation.
Featuring a total of 3 Intel-based gigabit onboard NICs, the PhoneBochs will be able to integrate seamlessly into any network configuration required.

Like the PhoneBoch 1U that we got. Worked out of the box, no serious issues. Delivery was on time. Rockboch support has been nothing but awesome. Purchased extra time for support and do not think I will use it.
Biggest draw back to me is I am not use to Linux. My Linux learning curve is very steep, but that did not prevent me from getting this box up and running with no prior experience. The few issues were quickly resolved by Rockboch support. Those issues were limited to getting the box time zone set properly and then having it sync with our Windows server. (Told you I’m a newby with Linux!)
The Trixbox software was in my opinion fairly easy to setup. My phone system is for a Small business with 8 extensions. But was able to setup the phone system and having it tested out in about 8 hours total. Must give credit to the great references to outside support docs provided by Rockboch. Used them extensively and were very helpful to learn the system. We have them on hand to reference because we now want to tweak the system to do some other things.
One thing that is a concern with Trixbox, the documentation to get into the deeper elements of the software is nowhere to be found.
Also we got Aastra 51i and 57i phones to go with the PhoneBoch server. Aastra 51i phones are not a supported phone with Trixbox setup, had to use the 53i for setup of the 51i but have had no user issues with the phones. This lack of support issue came out of the blue as it was no where to be found out there on the internet.
