The Valcom VIP-821A is an enhanced Network Trunk Port which allows most loop start terminal devices to be connected to a managed IP-based LAN/WAN.

Valcom VIP-821A Product Overview

The Enhanced Network Trunk Port Model VIP-821A will provide a single 10/100 Ethernet port, a single FXO Trunk port and 1 Failover port. The VIP-821A will provide all circuitry and software to convert network data to audio output and analog trunk control signals. It will provide all circuitry and software to convert input audio and analog trunk events to zone page audio and control information suitable for transmission to other Valcom IP Solutions products. The VIP-821A forms one part of a serverless Network based communications system.
