I want to knwow if with CISCO SG300-10P we can manage a voip system.
A: CISCO SG300-10P has 8 PoE ports so if you are planning to have more then 8 phones you will need more ports on your Cisco Switch. CISCO SG300-10P has 62 Watts dedicated to PoE Ports and each 10/100 PoE Port can deliver up to 15.4 Watts. Normally Cisco IP Desk Phones take 6.3 Watts with the exceptions of some models and Polycom IP desk phones take up to max 8 Watts with the exception of some models taking up to 12 Watts. So with that in mind you should not have problems in powering up 8 IP desk phones from Cisco SG300-10P PoE Switch.
