May I introduce to you the <a href=\"\/unidata-sq-3000-new\">Unidata SQ-3000<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12332\" title=\"Unidata SQ-3000\" src=\"\/blog\/voip-insider\/files\/2009\/08\/u1.jpg\" alt=\"Unidata SQ-3000\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" align=\"left\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voipsupply.com\/blog\/voip-insider\/files\/2009\/08\/u1.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.voipsupply.com\/blog\/voip-insider\/files\/2009\/08\/u1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently, I had the pleasure of BETA testing a few <a href=\"\/unidata-sq-3000-new\">SQ-3000&#8217;s<\/a> provided by Unidata and wow, was I impressed. Here are a couple of the highlights of which I have personally never seen on a SIP based WiFI phone:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Video support through H.263\/H.264 codec<\/li>\n<li>Touch Screen<\/li>\n<li>Can double as a TV remote control<\/li>\n<li>Contact and Address book to call or text messages from<\/li>\n<li>Speakerphone which supports \u201cHD\u201d voice<\/li>\n<li>SD card support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I say this only because the product is still in it\u2019s BETA testing stage and not all of the features and functionality are working 100% just yet. September 1st is the projected production release for this product.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, let\u2019s move on to the testing procedures. Both SQ-3000\u2019s were tested on a <a href=\"\/manufacturer\/switchvox\">Switchvox SMB 4.0 platform since Switchvox has built-in support for video calling<\/a> via H.263\/H.264 codecs.
