Four new Team admin roles have been added, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Teams Service Administrator:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Have access to all the controls available in the Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business admin center and their corresponding PowerShell equivalents. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Teams Communication Administrator: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage meetings and calling functionality in Microsoft Teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Teams Communications Support Engineering: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have access to advanced call analytics tools. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Teams Communications Support Specialist:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Have access to basic call analytics tools. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PowerShell cmdlets are available for all the roles and most of these can be found in the Skype for Business PowerShell module and some of them control share settings that are also used by <\/span><a href=\"\/skype\/skype-for-business\" onclick=\"ga('send', 'event', 'voip-insider-blog-post', 'click', 'skype for business');\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Skype for Business<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How To Assign Microsoft Teams Roles<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users can be assigned any of these Teams admin roles through the Azure Admin Portal. This new function helps users streamline the process of creating and customizing teams, saving them more time while enabling a familiar experience.
