When you\u2019re designing a wireless VoIP office system <\/span>there are two types of wireless VoIP phones to consider<\/span><\/a>, as outlined in the previous post; \u00a0<\/span>DECT and Wi-Fi<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since we have DECT installation details already covered in a <\/span>guest post series by Polycom<\/span><\/a>, I\u2019d like to specifically highlight Wi-Fi phones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans of DECT systems like that the phones run on their own frequency and are more resistant to interference from other wireless devices. \u00a0If you\u2019re happy with your WLAN the way it is and would like to get more use out of it, have no interest in adding new infrastructure specifically for DECT, and <\/span>just need a quick wireless solution than Wi-Fi VoIP phones might be for you<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
