Brand Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Brand Marketing Specialist has multiple marketing responsibilities and reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The primary focus of the position will be working directly with brands to plan and execute marketing campaigns. You will design creative marketing activities to help grow the brand’s presence with our existing and new customers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Accuracy of day-to-day maintenance/growth of all brands

  2. Planning, scheduling, and ensuring smooth execution of all creative marketing campaigns and activities for brands

  3. Sharing important product-related and brand updates with the marketing, sales, purchasing, and engineering teams

  4. Works directly with Data Standards and Product Specialist to ensure new products, EOL products, etc. are updated and maintained accordingly

  5. Conducting scheduled product trainings for the sales team

  6. Planning and co-hosting webinars with brands

  7. Conducting quarterly reviews and corresponding meetings for each product line managed

  8. Facilitate and coordinate manufacturer site visits with brand visit processes

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aide Marketing Manager in facilitating favorable relationships with brands

  • Act as product line champion and internal evangelist for brands

  • Complete special projects as assigned by management

  • Knowledge of technical products and product distribution channels

  • Knowledge of professional product management and marketing techniques

  • Respond to rapid change, organize, prioritize and perform work with occasional supervision

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or five years of working experience

  • Proven working experience in blog, website, email marketing, and social media

  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

  • Excellent written and communication skills

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, SOFTWARE:

This position will mostly use google docs, some image editing software is used occasionally, WordPress, and Hubspot. This position will be in daily contact with blog creation tools, email marketing tools, and also inbound marketing creation tools.
