The CyberData 011425 RFID Secure Access Control Endpoint uses the existing VoIP or PoE network infrastructure to securely unlock and lock gates or doors.

CyberData 011425 RFID Secure Access Control Endpoint Overview

To safely open and lock gates or doors, the SIP-based RFID Secure Access Control Endpoint connects to the existing VoIP or PoE network infrastructure. The RFID Safe Access Control Endpoint can store up to 500 access codes and is PoE powered and housed in a secure outdoor-rated container. When registered to the VoIP server, a blacklisted code list will initiate a phone call and play a pre-recorded message or broadcast a multicast message to IP speakers. The web interface may be used to update the good code and banned code lists, or a remote server can do it automatically. CyberData's RFID devices have been designed with a high level of security in mind. Data transmitted between the card and the reader is encrypted using AES128 to ensure that hackers cannot "spy" on the card's data being sent to the reader and replicate that card to get access.

Card Authentication

When a card is read, an extra security step is performed. The reader and the card go through a complicated mathematical procedure in which encrypted security keys are compared. This is known as Mutual Authentication. It ensures that communication between the card and the reader is never duplicated and utilized to create a duplicate card. If the keys match, the reader will extract the encrypted data from the card to determine whether or not the card is active in the system. The card will be refused if the keys do not match.

The CyberData 011425 ships with 5 RFID Cards
