Our tech support team at VoIP Supply offers great pre- and post-sales support plus provisioning, consultations, configuration, and installation help. We get a lot of VoIP hardware and software questions and would like to share the solutions with everyone.
In previous Mom’s calling Q&A series, we have discussed: What is the Re-dial Feature? How do I dial previous numbers without having to re-enter the digits? Today, we have more new real questions and answers from VoIP users just like you.
Q: Can I restore the FreePBX 13 to the FreePBX 14? What should I do?
A: We can’t restore it directly from the FreePBX 13 to the FreePBX 14 unfortunately. However, what we can do is to do a bulk import/export then start buildinng it from scratch. There is a conversion script to take a FreePBX 10.13.66 Distro to the new Sangoma 7 Distro that includes FreePBX 14 here: https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/Upgrading+from+Distro+6
