Question: What’s the difference between a lifter and an EHS cable? What does the lifter do for the phone?
Answer: A “Lifter” is a physical lifter that allows you to answer calls away from the phone (up to 300 ft); EHS refers to “Electronic Hook Switch” which means it picks up the call electronically instead of physically.
