Remember where you heard it first – a new color touch screen VoIP phone is coming soon from Aastra.
First spotted at the Internet Telephony Expo earlier this month while nosing around the Aastra booth, the new Aastra color touch screen phone is an attractive extension of the current Aastra product line. Designed with the executive in mind and set to directly compete with the likes of Cisco, Polycom and snom, this newest model is reportedly set to release this October.
Finalized details surrounding the phone are still unconfirmed, but from what I could see, this new model will offer:
Expect to see an MSRP just north of $500, with street price likely to settle in the mid $400 range.
Again finalized details are still not available so all of this is subject to change, but expect to hear more from the VoIP Insider on Aastra’s new VoIP phone over the next few weeks.
