If you’re looking for a feature-rich, entry-level IP phone for your office or business, look no further than the Yealink T44U or T44W. At first glance, these phones look identical, and that is because they are! So what’s the difference you ask? One has WiFi, and the other does not.
We thought that Yealink offering the T44 in both WiFi and no-WiFi models was very forward-thinking because in some cases WiFi is not needed on an IP phone, thus giving the non-WiFi users a cost savings. And, because things change, if you end up outfitting your business with the T44U and then come to find that you do need WiFi down the road, these phones have 3 USB ports that can accept a WiFi and/or Bluetooth dongle. These USB ports can also be utilized for a USB headset, or wireless headset via dongle as well.
