The Audiocodes MP114 FXO is well-suited for a commercial VoIP deployment. Field-proven voice and fax technology and feature-rich design makes the AudioCodes MP-114 FXO an excellent solution for various emerging VoIP applications. The AudioCodes MP-114 FXO is used in VoIP-based PBX or IP-PBX architecture as a mediation gateway and remote analog extension. The MP-114 FXO can also be used for optimizing voice transmission over satellite links, payphone networks, centralized IVR and Quality Monitoring applications. The AudioCodes MP-114 FXO is vastly deployed in the MTU (Multi Tenant Units) broadband access networks, IP Centrex and rural areas.

Q: Hi All,
Please advice me a voip gateway model of audio code with remote survability which means ,Protect our ability to make phone calls. If our office is disconnected from its VoIP network server, VoIP gateway must route both interoffice calls and PSTN calls.
A: All of the AudioCodes MP1XX Series support Stand Alone Survivability (SAS) of up to 25 SIP users (UA) per MediaPack.

Great, once configured
Have been looking forward to trying this device out for a while, was actually excited about it due to the various reviews I read online. Configuration of said device was...a nightmare. The various manuals I read were filled with esoteric terminology to the point where I wasn't sure quite what I was doing or setting.
After banging away at it for a week or so, I finally managed to shoehorn the device in to my set up, but I was never able to get CallerID passed through to my PBX ( yet after the various headaches I had setting it up, I accepted that as a cost ).
Now, that's the downside. The upside is that it "just works" once configured. It's well behaved after power loss events, and the sound quality is good. But that initial configuration is a nightmare, far harder than it needed to be. I suspect that's at least in part due to the configuration service Audiocodes offers ( I got a quote for 1000 bucks ).
If you are looking for a voip gateway to hook up to your asterisk installation, there are lower priced solutions out there that will be easier to configure and provide you with more features.

Great little ATA for Asterisk. There's probably a good bit more complexity in the device than I think is warranted but once you've got it up and going it's rock solid.
