Excellent for the Price
We purchased 15 of these for our small business, and they worked right out of the box with our Asterisk system. We have to reboot them every 30 days or so...but that is not a big deal. With the newest 1.4 firmware, you can now use an API to dial from the admin webpage. We've had these phones for 2 years now and couldn't function without them.
Bought 25 of these worked awesome for 3 years. The features you get for the price are impressive.
The package design is very nice - it feels good to talk on and the sound quality is great. We initially loved this phone and deployed about 50 of them to 2 customer sites. Unfortunately, they fell short in 3 areas. First, the BLF light scheme is very silly - green when extension is connected, red when off-hook, blinking when ringing (even when off-hook) and dark for non-blf functions. It doesn't sound bad at first, but when you see it in action it is very unfriendly. Next, the DND key is not programmable, so pressing DND is a local action that will not update a PBX (thus leaving BLF lights green). Finally, the hook-switch spring is so strong that a slight bump will cause the receiver to come off-hook and stay off unless you use the very short feet. If you leave the tab installed that is meant to keep the handset on-hook when wall-mounted, the receiver easily sits on top of the tab and stays off-hook.
