AudioCodes M800B-V-1ET4S-4L Overview

An E-SBC is an essential need for SMEs for addressing VoIP security, mediation, and SLA requirements. E-SBC's protect the VoIP structure from outside attackers. In addition, they bridge the internal VoIP network with the SIP service provider network, acting as a gateway connecting the 2 protocols. Most importantly, an E-SBC is the demarcation point between an SME and the VoIP Service provider. When trouble arises, it is very easy to use an E-SBC to locate the root cause of the errors and determine if they belong to the VoIP system or the VoIP Service Provider.

AudioCodes Mediant 800 E-SBC offers enhanced media gateway security featuring SRTP, TLS, IPSec, and Denial of Service protection. In addition to providing enhanced security to your VoIP network, the Mediant 800 is a highly interoperable VoIP media gateway. It provides enhanced dialing plans and voice routing capabilities along with SIP to SIP mediation, which allows SME's to use SIP trunking, IP Centrex systems, Unified Communications, flexible PSTN connectivity as well as connecting legacy PBX's to VoIP.

AudioCodes Mediant 800 E-SBC supports enhanced IP Quality of Service (QoS) enforcement and Quality of Experience (QoE) Monitoring. Leveraging AudioCodes SEM, a QoE monitoring and management system, the Mediant 800 E-SBC enables service providers and multi-site enterprises to assess networks, certify VoIP deployments, and measure, monitor, track, and help optimize the QoE of their VoIP services. AudioCodes’ Mediant 800 E-SBC also supports enhanced IP Quality of Service (QoS), including Ethernet frame tagging (802.1p), IP packet marking (Diffserv), and traffic shaping.

Small and medium Enterprises are motivated to become more productive, efficient, and responsive to their internal users. The convergence of secured voice services, Stand-Alone Survivability, Data Routing and Security, WAN Access, Mediation Services and Service Level Assurance, ensures a high level of investment protection, cost-optimization and support for the growing communication needs of the Enterprise.
