The VAR1 is an audio-activated relay device that detects sound across a wide input voltage range and triggers two sets of C-Form relay contacts when activity is sensed. It supports input from low-level microphone signals to high-voltage 70V speaker systems and provides a transformer-isolated audio output for integration with other equipment. Additionally, it functions as a balanced, low-impedance microphone preamp and includes an adjustable release delay (up to 25 seconds) to prevent paging interruptions—ideal for phone systems lacking AUX contacts.
