The Cisco Meraki MX105-HW Router Security Appliance is a part of the Cisco Meraki MX Family of multifunctional security and SD-WAN enterprise appliances. The Cisco Meraki MX Series is 100% cloud-managed with zero-touch provisioning and remote management making it perfect for large branches, campuses, and data center locations. The MX avoids the need for several appliances by being natively integrated with a full set of secure network and assurance features. Application-based firewalling, content filtering, web search filtering, SNORT®-based intrusion detection and prevention, Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), site-to-site Auto VPN, client VPN, WAN and cellular failover, dynamic path selection, web application health, VoIP health, and more are just a few of the capabilities available. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Alibaba Cloud are among the public clouds supported by vMX, while Cisco NFVIS provides private cloud compatibility.
