Patton SmartNode 4970A PRI VoIP Gateway Overview

The Patton SmartNode 4970A PRI VoIP Gateway provides 1 to 4 T1/E1/PRI and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet for up to 120 VoIP calls. Enterprises can IP-enable legacy PBX systems with the SmartNodeTM 4970A VoIP Gateway. The SmartNode 4970A Series, which evolved from Patton's award-winning SmartNode 4970 Series, now includes Trinity applications with a comprehensive range of features. In the event that the IP network crashes, the SmartNode survivability suite provides PSTN fallback to ensure business continuity. SmartNode's high-precision clock also provides first-line IP telephony service in challenging ISDN and DECT settings, as well as stable FAX and modem efficiency. Furthermore, SmartNode ensures a seamless transition to VoIP by supporting good number portability and accepting incoming PSTN calls during the VoIP service provider's number porting phase. The SN4970A provides a secure, cost-effective solution for the Enterprise, with 1 to 4 T1/E1/PRI and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet for up to 120 VoIP calls.
