Patton SmartNode 5500 eSBC SN5501/4B/EUI Overview

The Patton SmartNode 5500 Series Enterprise Session Border Controllers can be easily be integrated by using an enterprise router to a SIP trunk or hosted PBX service. For secure remote/branch office networking and improved All-IP carrier services, the SN5500 supports up to 200 SIP to SIP calls, 16 of which can be codec transcoded*. The SN5500 is an all-in-one eSBC, access router, and QoS CPE. It can also perform network evaluations and testing at the customer's venue, using Patton Cloud network monitoring to avoid, minimize, and fix network and voice quality issues. The SN5500 is a Direct Routing Session Border Controller that has been designed and certified to work with Microsoft Teams. Customers can select their telecom provider and make and receive calls in Teams through a Direct Routing SBC.
