The Cisco SPA303 is a 3 line VoIP phone which features a large LCD display at a price to fit your budget. The Cisco SPA303G is the perfect fit for hosted VoIP environments or premise-based IP PBX phone systems. The Cisco SPA303 is best suited for light to medium call volume desktops, or common areas like kitchens, lobby's, or meeting rooms.
Small offices and home offices (SOHO) have more responsibilities than manpower. Cisco phones like the 3-line Cisco SPA303G IP phone lets you worry more about the business at hand and less about your phone system.

Q: I am a solo attorney. I have a support person who answers the phone for me. Does this phone have an intercom type feature that allows her to "buzz" me and let me know who's calling? If not, which phone(s) has that feature? Thanks.
A: It is achievable on Cisco SPA303G but Feature requires support by call server.
Q: I'm just looking for a desk phone that has a hold feature. I don't need any other feature. Would this be something that I'm looking for? Other desk phones I found in future shop or bestbuy seem not so durable. Thanks.
A: All Cisco products are reliable. Yes Cisco SPA303g will work fine with Call hold feature you are looking for.
Q: can connect this phone to asterisk ?
A: Yes, this phone is SIP.
Q: Can I configure this phone from the menu WITHOUT having to connect to network/server/PBX first? Competing product required access to config file on server, but if it can't see the network (out of date firmware/rom/bios) ...
A: I am not showing anywhere in the phone to configure it. It has to be done from the web. In turn you will need to have an IP address to set the phone up
This is a basic model. However, it has all the features I need. The sound quality is the same as a landline.I am happy with it.
Its very nice, Thanks
Speaker Phone Problems
Phone works well with one exception. The speakerphone is not full duplex unlike what Cisco advertises. This poorly implemented feature makes this phone unusable as a hands free device. I would not recommend this phone and suggest for with the 504G model which works very well.
I have deployed this phone in as little as 2 minutes. Have plans to deploy these phone frequently in 2011.
