The Netgear FS728TLP is a 24 port 10/100 Smart Switch with 2 Gigabit and 2 SPF Combo ports and 12 PoE ports. Part of the Netgear family of ProSafe Smart Switches, the FS728TLP provides power and data using built-in IEEE 802.3af PoE on half of the 24 ports with a total power budget of 100 Watts.

Netgear's family of ProSAFE Plus switches provides a simple, easy to use and affordable solution. An upgrade to their plug-and-play unmanaged switches, Netgear's ProSAFE Plus switches feature visibility and control capabilities via a web-based management interface. With this reliable switch, small businesses are able to monitor and configure their network with ease. 

Prosafe Plus switches have the nework intelligence necessary to separate the voice and video traffic from data, and to priritize them accordingly. They offer fundamental features and applications to help keep the network optimized and running smoothly, but without the complexity of managed switches.

ProSafe Plus Switches also offer traffic monitoring for users to observe traffic behavior. If there are connectivity issues, these Netgear switches can identify and even locate connection problems via cable diagnostic test. To optimize traffic through the switches, ProSafe Plus Switches offer both port and tag-based prioritization to keep latency-sensitive traffic moving ahead of less critical packets.
