Q: Most open WLAN have a portal where you can enter a password or at least accept term of connection.

Is it possible to do that with this phone ?

Or a other wireless SIP phone who can that this ?

Thank you

A: No, that would require a browser on the phone. I know of none who will authenticate that way.

Q: Have you tried updating the firmware for this phone to the latest version 1.0.7 that was just released in Oct 2015? I updated several of these phones and now they keep shutting off. I was wondering if you are experiencing the same, and if so, any ideas for a solution. Thanks!

A: Hi Joann,

Yes, it sounds like a firmware issue. Have you tried factory resetting the phones to pull the original firmware?

From Vlad Smelyansky at 2/15/2016 7:00 PM

Q: We two received INCOM ICW-1000G today. The phone is working with our network, but there are a few caveats:
1. We didn’t look at automatic provisioning yet. I believe in worst case manual can be used;
2. Phone doesn’t support 3 way calling. At least this is the only phone on the market that doesn’t do it with our SIP proxy!
3. Call waiting works when original call was placed from the phone. When the first call was received by the phone, the call waiting doesn’t work.

A: Hi Vlad,

I would suggest this to further assist in any setups or inquiries you may have on the INCOM ICW-1000G!

From Steven at 4/3/2016 8:00 PM

Q: Will this phone work on a Freeswitch hosted VoIP system?

Will this phone jump from one WAP to another WAP without losing the call? I need a WiFi phone that can be carried in a warehouse that has multiple WAPs for full coverage in the Warehouse.

A: Hi Steven,

Yes it will be able to per your network configuration per WAP, as long as the beacon signals are strong enough there should be no problems.

Thank you,
