The SmartNode 4140E Series of VoIP Media Gateways supports up to eight telephones for voice and fax over any IP network, incorporating PSTN, PBX, and standard phones. Voice-over-packet services may be used by a corporate, small, or remote office to remove toll charges, access local PSTN calls, and secure voice traffic. Ruggedized to withstand the harsh environmental conditions that your application demands. The ruggedized SN4140E Industrial VoIP Gateway series is suitable for delivering Voice-over-IP telephony for outdoor phones, industrial VoIP, and tactical communications systems in outdoor or environmentally exposed areas where heating and cooling cannot be handled. Patton's rugged VoIP device supports IP-based voice transmission for applications such as factory automation, military communications, roads, public transit, public and private outdoor phones—including emergency phones in parking lots, along roadways and railways, and inside underground tunnels.
