Adtran 4213908F1 Total Access 908 3rd Gen Gateway Overview
The Adtran Total Access 900 is a cost-effective T1 IP Business Gateway that are built for carrier Ethernet and SIP/MGCP Voice over IP (VoIP) networks. These devices provide many of the robust routing and voice features seen in the commonly distributed Total Access Integrated Access Devices (IADs), as well as a slew of new features and functions that allow cost-effective and dependable IP service delivery. The NetVanta® Total Access 900 Series can be used in conjunction with a NetVanta® Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch to provide connections to a wide range of network equipment and personal computers, as well as power IP phones and wireless Access Points (APs). For VoIP applications, the Total Access 900 Series uses SIP or MGCP, allowing for interoperability with industry-leading softswitches, feature servers, and gateways. The Adtran 900 transitions IP signaling from the carrier into traditional TDM analog and digital voice services and it even supplies voice services to both IP phones and traditional telephony devices at the same time.
