The EdgeMarc 4808 Media Gateway supplies both PSTN gateway functions to support PRI and analog trunks as well as an Enterprise Session Border Controller (eSBC) for both security and Quality of Service (QoS) management of VoIP services. The Ribbon Communications 4808 Media Gateway is optimized to maintain the ever-growing needs of enterprises, providing 1 Gbps symmetric WAN connections with up to 500 concurrent calls. All EdgeMarc devices are easily monitored and managed through Ribbon's EdgeView Service Control platform. This allows service providers to keep an eye on their devices and come up with a resolution if a problem happens thus diminishing escalations and truck rolls. EdgeView also contains reporting tools as well as menu-driven configuration and provisioning tools to help configure your device easily
