Ruckus ZoneFlex R710 Wireless Access Point Overview

The R710 provides dependable, high-performance connectivity in schools, universities, public events, hotels, conference centers, and other high-traffic indoor environments. With MultiUser MIMO (MU-MIMO) connectivity, the R710 can transmit to several client devices at the same time, significantly enhancing RF efficiency, overall throughput, and availability—even for non-Wave 2 clients. The R710 also has a USB port for IoT devices like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons, as well as dual Gigabit Ethernet connections with Link Aggregation for higher-capacity backhaul. The R710 supports up to 512 clients per AP and includes capacity-based admission control to keep APs from becoming overloaded with attached devices. The R710 is also simple to manage, whether you're deploying ten or ten thousand APs, thanks to Ruckus' appliance, virtual, and cloud administration solutions.
