The Valcom VIP-429A-D- IC is a flush mount wall speaker unit with a 5 character integrated digital clock (like I said before). This model was meant for use with InformaCast IP Paging software systems.

Valcom VIP-429A-D-IC Product Overview

The VIP-429A-D-IC Talkback IP Wall Speaker with Clock give a single zone two-way paging with IP-based LAN/WAN. Therefore you can add this anywhere on the network. The speaker level is electrically adjusted during setup. Clock synchronization is initiated via connection to a factory pre-programmed time server. The enclosure is made of steel with a durable white finish and we can set the color for any decor from bright to bland. Power is provided to the VIP-429A-D-IC via a Power over an Ethernet switch meeting the 802.3af specification.
