The ruggedized SN4140E Industrial VoIP Gateway series is perfect for providing Voice-over-IP telephony for outdoor phones, industrial VoIP, and tactical communications systems in outdoor or environmentally exposed settings where heating and cooling are not controllable. This device can be mounted on a vehicle and is well suited for military applications. Industrial automation, military communications, railways, public transportation, public and private outdoor phones—including emergency phones in parking lots, along roadways and railways, and within underground tunnels—all benefit from Patton's rugged VoIP gateway. The SN4140E gateway connects and converts traditional analog phones, analog PBX facilities, and PSTN lines to modern IP-based Voice networks using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). All-IP implies that all voice terminals should be adapted to VoIP. The SN4140E device, which is contained in a hardened metal enclosure, is built to withstand shock (IEC 60068-2-27), vibration (IEC 60068-2-6), extreme temperatures (-40 to +70 °C), up to 85% humidity (conformal coating option protects up to 100%), condensation, and frost. These devices support DIN=rail mounting and shelf mounting as well. Being able to operate at its best even in harsh uncontrollable weather conditions makes this gateway the one you need today.
