The WAX610 is compatible with the next generation WiFi 6 cell phones, IoT tablets, and laptop computers. The WAX610 offers enterprise-grade WiFi network protection in high-density client system settings such as colleges, hospitals, restaurants, and convention centers. WAX610 is compatible with previous generation WiFi systems (WiFi 5 802.11ac, for example) and WiFi Access Points, and integrates smoothly with the new NETGEAR Insight controlled switches, WiFi access points, and network storage with Insight management. The Netgear WAX610Y is the WAX610's outdoor edition. The P2i nano-coating protects the WAX610Y from water and dust, and it meets the IP55 rating to survive rain and outdoor conditions.
