How to Set Up the Fanvil X4 SIP Phone

Configuring your IP phone with correct network configurations is the first step to get your Fanvil X4 SIP phone ready to work.

At least one of the lines must be configured with an IP telephony service. Let us walk you through the process:

How to Configure Network Parameters on Fanvil X4 IP Phone

The X4 SIP phone relies on an IP network connection to provide service. To enable the device, the network parameters must be configured properly first.

Follow these steps to configure network parameters

Open the network configuration screen: soft-menu [Menu] > [Settings] > [Advanced Settings] > [Network] > [Network Settings]
Choose an IP configuration mode. There are three options:
1. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) – This is the automatic configuration mode by getting network configurations from a DHCP server.
2. Static IP Configuration – This option allows the user to configure each IP parameters manually
3. PPPoE (Default mode) – This option is often used by users who connect the device to a broadband modem or router. You need to configure the username and password provided by your service provider.

How to Configure Lines on Fanvil X4 IP Phone

At least one line must be configured to be able to provide a telephony service. To configure a line manually, simply follow these steps:

Open the line configuration screen: soft-menu button [Menu] >[Settings]> [Advanced Settings]> [Accounts] > [SIP1] / [SIP2] / [SIP3] / [SIP4] -> [Basic Settings]
Enter the correct PIN code to edit line configuration. (The default PIN is 123)

Algo Solution Offers Developer Support for RESTful API

Algo offers a wide range of mass notification devices including audible and visual alerting systems, door phones, and security intercom systems. What is REST API?

API is an abbreviation of “Application Programming Interface”. API allows two pieces of software to communicate with each other.

Use Case Scenario

The Mobotix M16B camera takes thermal images of people coming into a school. When a person exceeds the temperature threshold set, the M16B would send a notification to a server; the server would then send API commands for a workflow that could flash a strobe light in the office indicating they have a high-temperature threshold met.

The user would then go to a computer and identify the individual and put them in a secure location for further assessment. A message could also be broadcast to the nurse’s smartphone in the school letting him or her know they have a patient to attend to.

How to Use Android Apps on Konftel’s CC200 Video Conferencing Camera

Are you and your teams using Android apps? Why not stay on the platforms you love and enjoy the high quality of video conferencing at the same time? Konftel CC200 video conferencing camera comes with some Android-based applications and you can install more as needed!

How to Use Android Apps on Konftel’s CC200

To add more Android apps on your CC200, your administrator needs to activate this feature on www.konftel.com/support for instructions.

On the endpoint main menu, click Apps.
Konftel CC200 will then display a list of applications available.
Click your desired application.
Now you should see that your screen splits and displays the application in one-half of the screen in meetings.

Konftel’s CC200 displays the chosen Android application in a split portion of your screen. If you’d like to modify how the screen splits, you can move the slider on the screen.
